www.rguhs.ac.in). The college also offers Post Graduation [M.D(Ayu)] courses in Samhita Evam Siddhanta, Rasashastra
& Bhaishajya Kalpana and Dravyaguna Vijnana ,Swasthavritta,
Kayachikitsa, Panchkarma, Shalya Tantra, Shalakya Tantra,
Prasuti Tantra, Kaumarabhritya.

SSCASR is an initiative of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Trust, a blend of ancient wisdom and modern science. The college has traditional experts, brainstorming with modern scientists to bring out the best of Ayurveda to the world.
SANCTIONED INTAKE CAPACITY
The sanctioned intake capacity for the current year is 100 (Hundred) for Undergraduation courses. Post Graduation-Samhita Evam Siddhanta(4 seats), Dravyaguna (5seats), Rasa shastra &Bhaishajya Kalpana(6 seats), Kayachikitsa (6 seats), Panchkarma (6seats), Shalya Tantra(6seats), Shalakya Tantra(6 Seats), Prasuti Tantra(6 seats), Kaumarabhritya (6seats), Swasthavritta (6 seats).
DURATION OF THE COURSE
The professional course (B.A.M.S. degree) offered, extends for a period of 4 ½ years comprising of four phases, of first three phases of 12 months each and fourth phase of 18 months. In addition to this, there is compulsory internship training for a period of one year.
Post Graduation courses extends for a period of three years of 12 months each.
DEGREE AWARDED
After the successful completion of the course, the students will be awarded Ayurveda Acharya, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery degree (B.A.M.S.), provided he/she has satisfactorily completed the one year compulsory internship also.
